Sayaka Kajita Ganz
Presenting the work of Indiana based artist Sayaka Kajita Ganz, using reclaimed materials Sayaka has created a collection of sculptures that breathe new life into objects rejected by people, She says her inspiration comes from the fact that she was disconnected from the place that she was born and wanted to create something that gave her a sense of identity and belong. her goal is for each object to transcend its origins by being integrated into an animal form that seems alive. She also finds the process of reclamation and regeneration liberating and says that her creations are a metaphor that states that although there is a lot of conflict in the world these days there is always a way we can all come together. you can learn more about this rather gifted artist at Sayakaganz.com
