Looks like BMW was serious about the Vision EfficientDynamics after all. More than often companies showcase concept cars that never see the light of day. BMW have just announced its grand entrance into the electric car market with the i3 and i8 models with the latter aimed at the more performance minded individual. The i3 is rated at 80-100 miles on a single charge before the gas engine kicks in and the i8 is rated at 20 miles before the gas engine has to get to work. You think they would have made the i8 last a bit longer than just 20 miles wouldnt they? Hmm…
