Asus Eee Pad Slider
I personally find the keyboard on my iPad sufficient for typing long documents. In fact most of my posts are typed on my iPad. But theres something really satisfying about using a physical keyboard. The tactile feedback you receive simply cannot be replicated on a touch based interface. The Asus Eee Pad Slider aims to solve this problem by combining a physical keyboard the slides out from below its wide IPS(In-Plane Switching) LCD screen. The tablet is powered by Android 3.1 and a NVIDIA dual core tegra processor. The 10 inch multi-touch screen also features a 178-degree viewing angle. A USB port and a micro SD card reader top things off nicely.
Available in white or metallic brown its scheduled to release in september in a 16 and 32GB model. A year of unlimited cloud storage via Asus Webstorage is also included. What do you make of it? Would you pick one over an iPad?
