Carlos Campos Spring/Summer 2012
The moment I laid my eyes on this collection the first thing that came to my mind was Panama. You can just imagine yourself wearing one of these ensembles ploughing through the thick of the amazon and to my surprise that’s exactly where Carlos Campos has got his inspiration from given his Latin American heritage. Aztec, Mayan and Incan cultures fuse via saturated colours, some great geometric blocking and a few wide brimmed hats. I love the textured detailing on the shirts along along with the clear Aztec influence in the belts.
