When it comes to bespoke kitchenware, no one comes close to Alessi, they have set the standard when it comes to chic yet functional accessories and appliances for the home, when presented by a challenge by the National Palace Museum in Taiwan to raise their profile, the designers at Alessi came up with this (dare we say ) rather cute range of products from senior designer Stefano Giovannoni, the range includes a salt and pepper set, egg cup, timer, bookmarks and magnets amongst others are these really quite cool flexible thermoplastic stoppers which have hand-decorated tops.

The Wright, Guggenheim Museum, New York


Fancy a bit of “Dry Aged Beef Sirloin with Bone Marrow Port Shallot Marmalade” then head over to the newly opened ‘The Wright’ restaurant and bar located at the heart of the Guggenheim, it’s opening commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the Museum, British Artist Liam Gillick had given it a contemporary design and cosmopolitan mood.

The menu features seasonal, local and sustainable food. what do we think??? we think its the place to be!
